Care Guide

Although leather doesn't require excessive attention, proper care is crucial for enhancing longevity and durability, maintaining aesthetic appeal, and preventing irreparable damage.

Regular Cleaning

Surface dust and dirt should be wiped off with a soft damp cloth. For deeper cleaning, use a specialised leather cleaner to gently remove spots without damaging the leather. Always ensure the belt is dried completely after cleaning to prevent moisture damage.

Conditioning

Leather can lose its natural oils over time, leading to dryness and cracks. Apply the conditioner in small amounts, allowing it to absorb fully before buffing off any excess, this keeps the leather supple.

Storage

Leather belts should be stored in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and humidity. Avoid folding the belt tightly; instead, store it flat or rolled loosely to help maintain shape and prevent unwanted creases.

Care for Woven Belts & Braces

Use a damp cloth with a small amount of mild detergent, gently rub the stained area, then blot with a clean, damp cloth to remove any soap residue.

Allow the fabric to air dry completely before wearing. Avoid leaving moisture on the hardware and trims of the belt, or for braces, leaving moisture on clips.

Avoid machine washing.
